Davey Lab houses offices for the Eberly College of Science and has an
observatory on the roof. Nearby Osmond houses classroom facilities for
the Eberly College of Science. Both buildings are used for classes and
laboratories.
Boucke Building is the location for many student services, including Career
Services and peer counseling. The Study Abroad Program is located here.
A computer lab, classroom, and services for international students and
students with disabilities can all be found in Boucke.
The Penn State Bookstore not only sells textbooks and school supplies
but also many other Penn State items such as sweatshirts and souvenirs.
One option some students take to save money on textbooks is to buy used
books. The condition of these books varies, but they are sold at a reduced
cost. This bookstore is operated by Barnes and Noble.
Ritenour Building is one of several locations for University Health Services.
Some of the clinical services offered here are General Medicine, Urgent
Care, Womens Health, an Allergy/Immunization Clinic, Advice Nurse,
and HIV Services. This building also has a clinical laboratory, X-ray
department, physical therapy department, and a pharmacy. University Park
also has a full-time ambulance service.
Grange Building, like McAllister Building, was originally a womens
residence hall, but now it houses the offices of the Division of Undergraduate
Studies, which tests and counsels all new freshmen and upperclassmen and
enrolls students undecided about their major and college. It also houses
the offices for Black Studies and a copy center.
