Career Planning: Career Advancement Resources

Alumni Career Services can help point you in the right direction when you choose to explore other job opportunities or make a career change. You will receive assistance in planning a strategy for making your next move.

Individual appointments and workshops are conducted by phone, in person, and online. Events are often held in different geographic locations as well as online. Individual Appointments
Alumni may request an individual appointment for a variety of career-related issues including career decision making and career transition assistance. Many alumni use these services for assistance with developing The Tools necessary for a job search including networking, résumé writing and resume critiques. Your first appointment is free. After that, there are nominal fees charged for assessments and career assistance. During your initial appointment, your assigned career specialist will review all free and fee-based services available. A list of fees is available by clicking here. Substantial discounts are available to members of the Penn State Alumni Association.
