Volleyball Wins National Championship
The Penn State men’s volleyball team claimed the program’s second national championship with a four-game win over No. 2 Pepperdine on Saturday at the NCAA National Championships in Irvine, Ca. The Penn State Alumni Association’s Penn Stater magazine recently added seven awards to its crowded trophy case. The latest awards—for writing, photography, and design—are from the Society of National Association Publications Excel competition. Alumni Association Pledges $2.1 million for Student Support
The Alumni Association has pledged a gift of $2.1 million to establish 35 Penn State Alumni Association Trustee Scholarships, each funded at $50,000 in 12 colleges, at 20 campuses, and three additional undergraduate units. In addition, the gift will include $350,000 to support students at Penn State’s graduate and professional campuses. MORE >> |
