Open House in the H.O. Smith Botanic Gardens
Take a self-guided or guided tour of the gardens, which will be dedicated in April 2010, which includes an overlook pavilion with a sweeping view of Bald Eagle Ridge, a lotus pool, hummingbird garden, butterfly garden, rose and fragrance garden, and demonstration gardens featuring annuals and perennials. The gardens are located next to the Penn State Dickinson School of Law’s Lewis Katz building and across Park Avenue from the new Business, Food Science, and Forest Resources buildings.
(Note: The entrance is on Bigler Road across from the Katz Building; there is limited parking at the Botanic Gardens, but parking is also available at the Katz Building and the East Deck)
