COPING WITH STRESS FOR EXAMS- 304 HUB/Robeson Center
Counseling and Psychological Services
Final exams can be stressful, especially if you procrastinate or panic. This program will focus on why exams are stressful and some self help strategies to manage the stress for finals (and life in general). Mary Anne Knapp, clinical social worker and Cathy Roberts, pre-doctoral intern in psychology will share some tips for survival. April 27, 2005, 7:00 - 8:15 p.m.

"Exploring Transracial Adoptions: Challenges for Families and Adoption Agencies," by Ruth McRoy
Location: Living Center, 110 Henderson Building, University Park
Ruth McRoy is Associate Dean for Research and Director of the Center for Social Work Research at the University of Texas at Austin. Light refreshments will be served, and a book signing will follow the presentation. This lecture is part of the Speaker Series: "Multiracial Realities: Exploring What We Know, Acknowledging What We Are Missing," sponsored by Center for Human Development and Family Research in Diverse Contexts; College of Health and Human Development; Children, Youth, and Families Consortium; Center for Work and Family Research; and Rock Ethics Institute.
