FastStart: Information for Students
----------------------------------------------------

FastStart provides a faculty/staff mentor and an alumni mentor to each freshman student participant. Faculty/staff mentors help connect you to the university and your new community. Alumni mentors share their Penn State experience and professional knowledge and expertise with you.

Students are given an orientation to the program during an introductory event at the beginning of the semester. All mentors also are invited to attend. Events are held throughout the semester to encourage student and mentor interaction. Visit our scrapbook to see some of our mentors and students.
