5:30pm-8pm Spaghetti Dinner: to benefit The Second Mile. To be held at the VFW, 139 N. Barnard St. This event is sponsored by Pi Beta Phi.
 
Friday, October 1st, 2004Retell
4pm-6pm: Competitors/VIP Arrival: Competitors, VIPs, and guests will arrive at the Hintz Family Alumni Center to pick up general information and passes for the weekend's activities.
6pm-8pm: The Opening Ceremony: This will include key note speaker Kerry McCoy, 5 time World Champion, 2 time Olympian and Penn State Graduate.; musical & dance performances by Penn State organizations; Penn State Athletics; Penn State traditions (alma mater, fight songs, etc.); celebration of commonwealth locations; lighting of ceremonial torch. The Second Mile introduced as the beneficiary of the Sesquicentennial Games Service Project.

8pm-12am: THE SESQUICENTENNIAL GALA: (Held at the Mount Nittany Club) The Penn State Sesquicentennial Games is proud to announce The Sesquicentennial Gala! This semi-formal event will be held in the Mount Nittany Club of Beaver stadium on Saturday, October 2 from 8:00 pm to midnight. Festivities include a live band, dancing, fireworks provided by Zambelli's Fireworks Internationale at 9:00pm and light food and drinks! Do not miss this incredible opportunity to share great memories with your fellow Penn State family members! Tickets are available for both students ($15) and friends of Penn State ($30). All event profits will be donated to The Second Mile.
 
Sunday, October 3rd, 2004Remember
10am-11:15am: MOXIE-THON: An annual 5K race sponsored by the Lion Ambassadors
12pm-2pm: Tug of War Playoffs (HUB Lawn)
2:30pm-4:00pm The Closing Ceremony: (Old Main Lawn) This will include a wrap-up of the theme "retell.relive.remember" through key note speaker Beth Alford-Sullivan (USA Olympic Team and Penn State Track and Field Coach), and a series of performances including NPHC; a large state production representing Penn State's past, present & future will be represented; hopes for the future will be presented; extinguishing the torch; musical conclusion. Presentation of donation to The Second Mile.
 
*Throughout the weekend, we are hoping to offer Lion Ambassador historical tours.
*The Penn State Thespians will be performing "A Living Penn State History," where members will be dressed up as characters from Penn State's past and present.
