The Opening Ceremony: This will include key note speaker Kerry McCoy, 5 time World Champion, 2 time Olympian and Penn State Graduate.; musical & dance performances by Penn State organizations; Penn State Athletics; Penn State traditions (alma mater, fight songs, etc.); celebration of commonwealth locations; lighting of ceremonial torch. The Second Mile introduced as the beneficiary of the Sesquicentennial Games Service Project.

THE SESQUICENTENNIAL GALA: (Held at the Mount Nittany Club) The Penn State Sesquicentennial Games is proud to announce The Sesquicentennial Gala! This semi-formal event will be held in the Mount Nittany Club of Beaver stadium on Saturday, October 2 from 8:00 pm to midnight. Festivities include a live band, dancing, fireworks provided by Zambelli's Fireworks Internationale at 9:00pm and light food and drinks! Do not miss this incredible opportunity to share great memories with your fellow Penn State family members! Tickets are available for both students ($15) and friends of Penn State ($30). All event profits will be donated to The Second Mile. |

Presentation of donation to The Second Mile. |
