Web Guidelines: Content Suggestions (4 of 7)

  1. Visitors will appreciate useful content and your ability to offer good customer service.
  2. Provide contact information on every page, including contact name,
    e-mail, Web address, phone, hotline, and mailing address. For the convenience of your visitors, consider adding content such as upcoming events, list of officers, community information, news, and helpful links.
  3. Update information often since many old pages lose their relevance. We recommend that you schedule at least one regular monthly maintenance of your site to remove any information that is not current and add content that will keep the site fresh.
  4. If the information spans multiple pages, outline that information in a manner that links each page back to your site's homepage.
  5. Content should abide by copyright laws.
