Guidelines (1 of 7)
------------------
PENN STATE ALUMNI ASSOCIATION AFFILIATE GROUPS WEB GUIDELINES
The affiliate group Web sites are a great opportunity for alumni to connect
to your group and the Association. The Penn State Alumni Association encourages
affiliate groups to establish a presence on the Web and provides the following
guidelines to help affiliate groups meet the communication goals and mission
of the Association:
| 1. |
There
should be contact information provided on every page, including: contact
name, e-mail, Web address, phone, hotline, mailing address. |
| 2. |
The
content of Affiliate Group Web sites should reflect the mission and
values of the Penn State Alumni Association, and accurately represent
the affiliate group. Sites should abide by federal copyright laws
and refrain from including libelous content, or from using the site
for non-Penn State related business. If you have a question about
the suitability of any content, please contact the Association's
Webmaster. |
| 3. |
An
affiliate group Web site should clearly identify the group and its
relationship to the Penn State Alumni Association by using the official
Affiliate Group logo (designed
by the Association) on every page. Please refer to our sample
of a fictitious affiliate group Web site. Sites using an Affiliate
Group logo must be chartered by the Penn State Alumni Association.
To request a logo for your group, please contact the Volunteer Management
Team at alumni-relations@psu.edu. |
| 4. |
Sites
should include a visible link to the Penn State Alumni Association's
Web site (http://www.alumni.psu.edu)
on the first page. |
