That tradition of giving has never ebbed. For the Future: The Campaign for Penn State Students, a seven-year, University-wide fundraising effort that concluded in June, raised $48.9 million for Penn State Erie, The Behrend College — more than any Penn State campus outside of University Park. That support, which took the form of cash, pledges, estate commitments and software gifts, exceeded the original goal by nearly $17 million.
The National Autism Conference welcomes nearly 1,500 presenters, parents, educators and service providers each year to provide updates on autism research and to promote evidence-based interventions for school-based services. In an effort to provide the conference’s content to a greater audience, more than 20 full video sessions are available online for free. The National Autism Conference was held Aug. 4-7 at The Penn Stater Conference Center Hotel.
Penn State Centre Stage will present Duncan Sheik and Steven Sater’s Tony Award-Winning musical, "Spring Awakening," Nov. 4 to 18 in the Pavilion Theatre. Directed by Cary Libkin, "Spring Awakening" is an electrifying fusion or morality, sexuality and rock 'n' roll music that explores the journey from adolescence to adulthood with poignancy and passion.
