What shows your Penn State pride wherever you drive, is more permanent than a bumper sticker, and has more visibility than a window decal? A Penn State Alumni Association license plate. Plates are available in Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and now West Virginia, too.

If you are a member of the Penn State Alumni Association and own a qualified motor vehicle registered in PA, CT, TN, MD, NJ, NY, VA, WV, or DE you have all the credentials you need to join that convoy of Penn Staters out there on the highways.

In Pennsylvania, any motor vehicle weighing less than 9,000 pounds (except motorcycles) qualifies for the special plate. If the vehicle is registered in the name of a non-member or a non-alum, have that person join the Alumni Association at the same time you apply for a license plate.

Alumni Association License Plates Available
The Alumni Association's Pennsylvania plate can be yours for a required contribution of $74. $50 of this amount is a 100 percent tax deductible donation that will be used to fund student programs sponsored by the Penn State Alumni Association.

Pennsylvania residents interested in receiving an Alumni Association plate for the first time can call the Alumni Association office at 1-877-778-7467.

The Penn State Alumni Association was the first organization in the country to offer an affinity license plate displaying a university's name. Today, the Penn State Alumni Association's affinity license plate represents the largest affinity plate program in Pennsylvania.
