AlumnInsider

alumninsiderimage.jpgAlumnInsider, the Alumni Association’s monthly e–newsletter, keeps members updated on Penn State news, Alumni Association events, and other University happenings. Launched in 2004 as Alumni Volunteer Update, this e–publication first targeted chapter leaders and members. Three years later it was renamed AlumnInsider and offered as an Alumni Association member benefit. Today, more than 110,000 Penn State alumni and friends receive a monthly update on all things Penn State—delivered conveniently to their email inboxes.

AlumnInsider updates readers on traditional Penn State favorites with stories and photo scrapbooks of perennial events like THON, Homecoming, and Arts Festival. Some of AlumnInsider’s most popular stories are historical “snapshots” of particular times or events featured in the “History and Traditions” section. Many of these stories inspire readers to email us with memories of their own Penn State experience.

AlumnInsider is one of many benefits of membership in the Penn State Alumni Association. To join or renew your membership, click here. Want to suggest a story idea or respond to an AlumnInsider story? Email alumninsider@psu.edu.
