Eisenhower Auditorium Parking Garage University Park is a pedestrian campus. Cars are not needed on campus. Students rarely have a walk longer than twenty minutes. There is limited parking on campus for students, and most of this parking is in the long-term lots located near East Halls. Freshmen are not permitted to have cars on campus.

Besides walking, students often use bicycles or in-line skates. Bicycles must be registered with University Police Services (located in the Eisenhower Auditorium Parking Garage pictured at left) and bicycle locks are strongly recommended. There are also two bus systems that students commonly use. CATA, the local public transportation, is useful for students who want to travel to grocery stores or the mall. The Loop and Link system takes students around campus and to downtown State College.
