East Halls
Trevor: When I was a freshman, I lived in East Halls, it was a great experience living there. I
made a lot of friends there, I still go to all the football games with the people from my
floor. The first warm day of Spring, the whole Quad area is just covered with everybody. They put their radio in the window and everybody is just out there playing around, throwing the Frisbee, just having a good time. That's when the true test of a student comes: you have to resist going out there if you have work to do.
Megan: It's just like a airport, everyone comes together there. The Big Onion is a great place to eat, lots of Italian food.
Residence Hall Life
Trevor: you need to personalize your dorm room. Put a carpet down, maybe a loft, because it is your home for a year. It makes it a lot more comfortable if you have things there that you like and can look at things you enjoy.
Megan: Things that were a necessity for me were my TV; my TV and my stereo!
Trevor: A fan's important too, because it's a small room and the air needs to be circulated. It's a little bit more comfortable, even in the winter.
Megan: The biggest thing about the residence hall is the friends you make on that floor, because those are the people you see everyday. This is going to be my junior year and from my freshman year, I made some of my closest friends from that first year on the floor.
Even seniors will tell you that they still hang out with their freshman-year friends
