Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Do I have to be an Alumni Association member to get help from Alumni Career Services?
A: You don’t have to be a member to get assistance from Alumni Career Services. We offer many career resources to all alumni, including Nittany Lion Careers, LionLink, and job search webinars. The “Resources” section of LionLink contains helpful tools, recordings, and documents on a wide variety of career-related issues, including job search strategies, resume preparation, networking, and more.
Some of our services—including individual career coaching appointments, resume and LinkedIn profile critiques, access to special events and programs, and mock interviews—are available exclusively for Penn State Alumni Association members.
If you’d like to schedule a 1:1 career coaching appointment, 1:1 mock interview, or other members-only service, but you are not a current member of the Alumni Association, please join or renew your membership first. Then, contact alumnicareer@psu.edu with your membership confirmation.
If you are not interested in renewing your membership now, please access our webinars, virtual office hour events, and self-directed tools and resources to assist you with your job search.
