Your membership in the Alumni Association includes access to our local chapters. Whether you're moving to a new city or staying in a familiar neck of the woods, chances are there's a Penn State Alumni Association chapter nearby to connect Penn Staters in your area. Get to know new people you already have a lot in common with! Penn State graduates in Pittsburgh formed the Alumni Association's first local chapter in 1898. Since then, our network of affiliates has grown to include 280 groups.

At one time, membership in local chapters was separate from membership in the central Alumni Association, with separate dues, but now access to our local chapters is core benefit of being part of the association. Your membership in the Alumni Association makes it easy for you to engaqe with the University's incomparable alumni network when and where you wish.

When you join, initial chapter assignments are based on your address in our records, so be sure to keep your information up to date. As an association member, you can change your primary chapter affiliation and access any local chapter you like.
