The Young Alumni Ambassador program has three main components, Talk, Do, See. Combining these three components will inspire this cohort to be better volunteers and leaders. Talk, Do, See provides an action plan an opportunity for young alumni to learn what motivates and inspires them to lead in their personal and professional life. With these components, young alumni will be able to TALK about themselves and their goals; DO and put them into action and SEE the results. Within the pillars, participants will hone and develop leadership skills to improve self, others, and Penn State.

Participants can expect the following:

  • Ten-month program that includes monthly and virtual sessions.
  • Participation in Penn State’s Alumni Leadership Connections Conference in August 2024, featuring exclusive leadership sessions, world-class alumni speakers and University leaders, and hands-on learning and coaching.
  • Develop and understand themselves through a leadership profile.
  • Participation in philanthropic and service projects.
  • Volunteering with an alumni affiliate group and partnering with other stakeholders.
