Image of Michele VollmerHave you wondered how millions of veterans being discharged from our military are making the transition back to civilian life and what can be done to help them? Penn State Law’s veterans clinic, in partnership with other law schools across the country, is assisting veterans with VA disability claims and a host of other legal issues. Research shows that meeting a veteran’s legal needs can lead to better mental and physical health outcomes. Learn about veterans’ most pressing needs today and how law schools are training their students in cultural competency and client counseling skills to prepare them to meet the legal needs of those who served us and now deserve our help.
