Chapter Watch Parties Unite Penn Staters, Benefit Communities



Many of our 125-plus alumni chapters hosted watch parties for the Peach Bowl, with Alumni Association membership including access to our entire affiliate group network. See some of the sights from the watch parties and visit alumni.psu.edu/groups to find your local chapter.

The Shanghai Chapter woke up at 5 a.m. local time to watch game and cheer on Penn State.

The Charleston Chapter hosted two parties for the Peach Bowl, including one gathering at Share House

The Daytona Beach and Palm Coast displayed banners during the game. The chapter also celebrated Nicholas Singleton's 48-yard touchdown with 17 push-ups. See the video on the chapter's Facebook page

The Greater Fort Lauderdale Chapter shared photos from their event at Marina 84 Sports Bar & Grill.

The Hampton Roads Chapter held a raffle to benefits its student scholarship fund, with the winner, Jess Palk donating their winning back to the chapter fund. The chapter also awarded door prizes, which Palk announced, and shared announcements. 

The Jacksonville Chapter held a 50-50 raffle that raised $160 for THON and shared details on upcoming events. 

The Las Vegas Chapter featured banners and Penn State and Peach Bowl swag at its watch party. 

The Minnesota Chapter hosted a watch party that included at least one Penn Stater traveling two-plus hours from Duluth to Minneapolis. 

The New Orleans had a game day presence, with members traveling to Atlanta for the game. One chapter member shared this video of the Blue Band's pregame performance to the chapter's Facebook page

The Northern New Jersey Chapter held a Most School Spirit Contest and also had giveaways. Chapter members also donated socks and winter attire to people in need in the local area. 

The Northwest Ohio Chapter posted a group photo of its gathering. 

The Palm Beach County Chapter offered Berkey Creamery ice cream at halftime and also held a raffle. 

The Southern New Jersey Chapter gathered at Fielder's Pub for the game. 

The Upper Chesapeake Chapter enjoyed the game together, organizing a raffle and showing school spirit
